There’s nothing quite like a walk to clear one’s head. Nothing quite like fresh air and new sights to stir the dusty cobwebs of the mind. Take a deep breath–look up at the sky instead of the concrete beneath your feet.
Unfortunately, any musings today would be heavily influenced by textbook readings. In the interest of sparing you all a reflection on textbooks, studying, and other similar subjects, today’s musings will instead be a pictorial glimpse of a recent visit to the Fort Worth Water Gardens. If you’re ever in the DFW area, it’s worth the trip. A unique combination of water and concrete, the gardens are described by many as a modern oasis in the urban jungle of downtown Fort Worth.
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words… I’ll not debate the accuracy or inaccuracy of that statement today, that’s an article for some other Monday. Today, I’d rather provide a 15,000 *harrumph-cough* word blog post on a recent trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. If you live close by, or happen at some point to be near the Dallas Fort Worth area, I’d say add the aquarium to your bucket list–you won’t regret it. The DWA is something like the TARDIS–rather smallish and unimpressive on the outside, but within… well, let’s just say they’re experts at maximizing space.
At any rate, here are a few photos from the aquatic adventure. The scope and beauty of God’s creation is truly stunning!
